All students
are required to cross an aggregate of 41% (2005), 47% (2006), 51% (2007)
and 55% (2008 – onwards).
The students have to score 31% (2005) and 45% (2007) and 49% (2008 onwards)
in each subject in each respective terminal exam.
Incase the students fail to meet the above requirements, they will need
to sit for a supplementary exam in the beginning of an academic year(dates
will be allocated). This will require the students to score above 41%
in all the respective papers except mathematics which will be 31%.

Failure to reach the set passing mark will lead to the student not being
eligible for promotion to the next class thus being retained in the same
class.
